Author Rocky Boss discusses child welfare.

Author Introduction

Hi, my name is Rocky Boss. I am basically from India. I have completed mechanical engineering in my home country and came to Canada for further studies in the field of mechanism. I like to make new friends and hang out on a trip to explore new places. My future goal is to become a machinist and I want to work for multinational companies.

Introduce the Call to Action – Child Welfare

I choose child welfare because, in my opinion, youth is the strength of the nation. If we take care of this particular group of people, we will get extraordinary next generation.

Importance to all people living in Canada

Thinking on behalf of the person living in Canada, more youth will create more consumption of the product, which will be good for the nation’s economy.

To add to it, If the nation takes care of the child’s welfare, then the child will become a responsible citizen of the country in future.

Connects to Canada’s legacy of colonialism

In the legacy of Colonialism, Indigenous children become workers in a foreign industrial system, but it fails when the nation disappoints as them an individual.

The significance of the Call to Action.

In child welfare, they call upon the federal, provincial, territorial, and Aboriginal governments to commit to reducing the number of Aboriginal children in care by monitoring and assessing neglect investigations which will bring flows in the current system.

Giving satisfactory assets to empower Aboriginal Colony and youngster government assistance associations to keep Aboriginal families together where it is protected to do as such, and to keep youngsters in socially proper conditions, paying little heed to where they live.

Organization works for child welfare

After doing research on organization that works for child welfare in Canada, I found the Child Welfare League of Canada. It is a membership-based, national organization dedicated to promoting the protection and well-being of vulnerable children. CWLC plays a leadership role in promoting best practices among those in the field of child welfare. CWLC monitors public policy and legislative activities and proposes effective and accessible initiatives on behalf of all children and families.
